Classic Brass Norfolk Thumblatch ca. late 1800s (1840-1940)

This classic Norfolk thumblatch has a 1 1/2"x 8"  backplate made of 5/16" thick cast brass hosting the classically-shaped offset (and reversible) handle. The latchbar and keeper are also heavy-duty cast brass. The guide that restrains the latchbar is brass-coloured, cast steel.
