Excuisite Arts Crafts 8 piece Fireplace set. Flamingo Theme ca. early 1900s ((1840-1940)

A truly amazing, complete and well preserved fireplace set. The andirons (aka "fireplace dogs") are 13 1/2 " wide at the base and 28 1/2" tall, each topped by cups for lanterns and one with a built-in swivelling crane that has a 16" reach and is 32" tall overall. The 47"x 29" high tight mesh screen sets the nature theme with whimsical birds in flight and a large copper repoussé flamingo in a tropical marsh. The 39" tall hand forged tool set with its four implements is also topped with a lantern cup as a bonus feature.

This set is a 'one only' work of a anonymous blacksmith's and brownsmith's anvil artistry and would be a remarkable complement to any coal or wood-burning fireplace. Quite rare.  $2650.
