Early hand-forged Suffolk thumblatch ca. 1740-1840

Eighteenth-century Suffolk thumblatch with large upper and lower spade-shaped terminals featuring original paint. This latch would be ideal as a prop in the film industry. Handle 2 3/4" wide, 9 1/4" tall, with 4 1/4" latch bar.
