Early hand-forged Suffolk thumblatch ca. early 1700s (1640-1740)

Eighteenth-century Suffolk thumblatch with a small heart-shaped upper terminal is offered in its original condition. This latch would be ideal as a prop in the film industry. Handle 1 5/8" wide, 7 1/4" tall, with 5 1/4" latch bar, and comes complete with a keeper and a newer latch bar guide.
