Antique Victorian Passage Set And Gravity Lock-1887. (1840-1940)

Original Victorian cast-iron gravity lock passage set. The lock mechanism has four moving parts and employs no springs. Manufactured in 1887 and patented by the Gurney Foundry, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, featuring cast brass doorknobs built into the Eastlake-patterned cast brass backplates.

Fully reconditioned and restored, in perfect working order. Includes strike plate and mounting screws. A key, if required, is priced separately.
