Norfolk style scalloped thumblatch ca. 1740-1840

Unusual scalloped backplate on Norfolk-style thumblatch featuring a teeter-totter thumb piece atop the ornate cast iron handle. 

This set's backplate is 7 1/4" high, 1 3/4" wide, and the latch bar is 7" long
