Norfolk style scalloped thumblatch ca. 1740-1840

Unusual scalloped backplate on Norfolk-style thumblatch featuring a teeter-totter thumb piece atop the ornate cast iron handle.

The set has a  backplate 7.25" high and 1 7/8" wide with a 7" latch bar.
