Enormous narrow Suffolk thumblatch ca. 1640-1740

Diamond terminals adorn this very large Suffolk-style thumblatch set. A great example of sturdy hand-forged, primitive American anvil artistry, probably early 1700s. 

This set has a narrow handle, 18 1/2" tall, and a 10" latch bar. It is suitable for gunstock doors or doors with narrow stiles.
